ABOUT NS 121 CLUB
Negro Spiritual 121 Club is a belief system in the Divine power of Love and Divine power of Freedom. - 501(c)3
Negro Spirituals are songs enslaved Africans sang about the power of the Creator's Love. Spirituals sustained them through unimaginable torture. They brilliantly hid code words in the Spirituals to help escape slavery on the Underground Railroad to Freedom. "Negro Spiritual 121 Club" are believers in the Divine Spirit of Love and the Divine Spirit of Freedom that compelled enslaved Africans to unite, run away, and overcome fear, hunger, despair, physical agony, and being hunted. We embody this Love & Freedom for Unity.

UPCOMING EVENTS
J’sforA’s
This program is a two-fold initiative addressing the local school-to-prison-pipeline and community empowerment. Community members donate $5 or more to raise the prize money incentives for our youth to strive for academic excellence. This builds a sense of ownership in the direction and destiny of our community!
We know that education is the most secure pathway to escaping poverty and the host of systemic issues that accompanies poverty. School is challenging, and the challenges can seem pointless without tangible rewards for your effort. This program is to combat the suspension rates, dropout rates, and juvenile arrests in our community by incentivizing our youth to give their very best efforts in school.
We are starting with our first school Tulsa’s McLain High School and looking to expand quickly! There are ten spots for Straight A winners to each receive a $300 gift card. Also ten spots for Most Improved Grades to receive $150 gift card. We are asking for community members to donate $5 or more to invest in the future of our kids. 60 people + $5 each = $300 let’s support our youth! Please donate!
The celebration will be held April 30th from 5-8pm at the Archive Creative Space. Come out and honor the hard work of the young students, signup to get involved with our organization and eat some good food together as a family.
